Football fans urged to show their support for the Matildas – permanently!

Football fans have a unique opportunity to sign messages of support on a brand-new Hyundai car all in the name of supporting the Matildas as as they prepare for the World Cup.

The Hyundai i30 N started its journey at the A-League Grand Final in Perth last weekend, and will collect messages from fans around Australia before uniting with the Matildas in France for the World Cup.

The aim is for each message to act as a show of support from home, providing inspiration to the players.

From journey's start to journey's end, the car will travel more than 25,000 kilometres, and will also help grow and support the women's game.

Hyundai Australia CEO JW Lee, says Hyundai is proud of its relationship with the Matildas.

“Our commitment has always been to help grow the sport in Australia and make it as inclusive as possible to all our young female players.

“We want to ensure our Matildas feel the full support of Australia as they push for glory in France, and to let all the young girls know that when they too reach the same level, they will have the full support of an entire nation behind them.”

The Hyundai i30 N will travel from Perth across the Nullabor to Melbourne and then north to Sydney with a number of stops along the way.

You can follow the journey of the Hyundai i30 N, as well as find out how to include your messages of support, via HyundaiFootball.com.au or via Twitter @HyundaiAus.
